Roamer for students 3 to 5 years old
This is the simplest of the standard Roamers. It uses counting to determine the number of moves to make or how long to wait. It turns in quarter turns. It also has four user keys that the teacher can set up. So for example if you are doing project about dogs, you can add a dog bark to the Roamer’s capability.
Roamer for students 9+ years old
This Roamer is the most advanced of the standard Roamers and as you would expect develops the control possibilities enormously. You can attach sensor, motors and other devices to make your projects come to life.
Draw Routes and Patterns
Roamer is the most accurate low cost educational robot of this type. Members of the Roamer User Group can access the Free RoamerWorld Software, which includes a module for fine-tuning the accuracy of the robot’s movement. One of the Most Frequently Used Accessories
You can create environments for Roamer to explore with pictures or children’s drawings. Made from a clear durable plastic the mat provides an excellent nonslip protective running surface for Roamer. Simply place it over the top of your pictures. Forward 1 will move Roamer from one square to the next. The grid provides a structure that helps younger children to solve problems in a way that develops their mathematical skills. The mat is 5 squares wide and 5 squares long and at it fits on table arrangements normally found in classrooms. The mats butt together so you can make bigger exploratory areas.

For Computers Without BTLE
The Roamer Wireless System is based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE or Bluetooth 4.0). If your computer or mobile uses older Bluetooth Specs (Bluetooth 2.0 and 3.0) you will need this Dongle. Simply plug it into your USB and you are good to go. The system is compatible with Windows 7, Win8 , Mac, OS, X systems.
Record Programs and Play Games
A pack of 112 A6 Cards with Roamer Instruction Symbols for Standard Infant K-1 and Primary Roamers. These prove useful in games, helping students to clarify their thinking and programs and explaining ideas. The pack comes in a plastic Box.
The back of the card is clear. This gives you an excellent surface for creating custom cards. Use a Dry Wipe Pen to draw pictures or symbols. Wipe clean to reuse.
